HM FIshing Report 8-18-23

Captain Dylan Hubbard here, bringing you the latest fishing report from Hubbard’s Marina! It’s been an eventful week with some storms, but the weather is looking up, and the fish are biting. Let’s dive into the exciting updates from our team.

Inshore Fishing: Our waters are alive with action! Snook, snapper, and even tarpon are making their appearances. With the rain bringing cooler temperatures, the fish are active and feeding well. Don’t miss out on the incredible opportunities inshore.

Nearshore Fishing: Spanish mackerel, long snapper, and triggerfish are making waves near the reefs. Our crew is catching them on shrimp, squid, cod, and more. It’s a great time to introduce the kids to fishing – they’re having a blast!

Offshore Fishing: Red snapper and amberjack are still in season, but the red snapper bite is becoming a challenge. However, the mangrove snapper are consistently biting at night. Big four millions are thriving in the deeper waters, and triggerfish are biting at certain depths. Gag season is around the corner, so mark September 1st on your calendar.
