Its been a wild week for sure weather wise with an intense midweek period with lots of rain and surge to say the least.

Its been a wild week for sure weather wise with an intense midweek period with lots of rain and surge to say the least.
Mackerel are thick right now around our local passes, fishing piers, and jetties. However, we are seeing them up in the bay too chasing schools of bait adjacent to structures or grass flats.
Lots of interesting weather right now and through the weekend with a weak front coming through today and then full moon Saturday with a strong front coming through
We are coming up on a full moon at the end of the upcoming week! This means we should have a great week of fishing opportunities especially at the end of the upcoming week
Redfish action is HOT right now around the entire area. We are seeing redfish like we saw snook in the summer from the beaches to the upper bay area.
Redfish bite is heating up more and more as the water cools! They are all over from the passes to the flats to the mangroves and on the oyster bars and docks too. The big boys are eating cut baits on the bottom around the deeper waters and shade of the mangroves.
