Red grouper action is going extremely well for us in the deeper offshore waters. We are seeing some really fat red grouper while fishing 150-200ft of water.

The red grouper bite was super-hot for us this past week as we transitioned from gag grouper fishing to the red grouper. This past week on our 12 hour extreme trip this past Wednesday we caught a boat limit of keeper red grouper that means everyone on board completely limited out on keeper red grouper.

Gag grouper ending offshore is sad, but we are super pumped to move deeper and target those fat red grouper around 150-250ft of water with some monster scamp grouper, big vermillions, plentiful mangroves, big porgies, and more stacked up with them. Plus, we have seen some pelagic action too!

Hogfish action has been steady for us too near shore, the big weather kept us off the water for a few days but were confident the backside of this thing will help to re concentrate and refresh our near shore hogfish population.

Hogfish action is now in full swing near shore, and we are seeing some monster hogfish action around 40-70ft of water near shore right now on live shrimp. Exciting time to get out there and target some of these great eating fish with lighter tackle, lighter lead and about a 3-4ot hook with around 30lb braid and 30lb floro top shot.
